Anchor Daily ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

• Account information: Email address when you create an account.
• Usage data: Which focus area you select (Stress & Anxiety, Difficult Decisions, or Relationships & Conflict), and general app usage events.
• Journal entries: Text you write in the private journal. This is stored securely and is never shared.
• Push notification token: If you enable daily reminders, we store your device's push token to deliver notifications.
• Subscription status: We record whether you are on a free trial, active subscription, or free plan.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalise the daily devotional experience.
• To save and sync your journal entries across devices.
• To send daily reminder notifications (only if you enable this).
• To manage your subscription through RevenueCat.
• To improve the app through anonymised usage analytics.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a PostgreSQL-based cloud database with row-level security policies. Journal entries are only accessible by you. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com)
• RevenueCat — subscription management (revenuecat.com)
• Expo — push notification delivery (expo.dev)
• Sentry — error monitoring (sentry.io)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your data to any third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen in the app.

6. Children's Privacy

Anchor Daily is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete Account) or contact us at the address below.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
